This was a commission that brought to life a scene in the heart of winter, featuring two devoted companions—a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever and a mix of Border Collie and Labrador Retriever, now deceased. They exude excitement and anticipation as they prepare to embark on an exhilarating journey along their beloved trail. Distinct against winter’s embrace, the path is lined with grasses bowed under the weight of the snow. Above, the sky comes alive, a canvas of swift-moving clouds that mirror the energetic spirits of the dogs. This piece captures not just a moment of friendship between the two dogs but also their deep bond with their human companions. Charged with the spirit of adventure, friendship, and the sheer joy of being together in the great outdoors, it creates memories that will last a lifetime.

Jeff Dillon the Canadian Artist, inspired by the bold colours and brush strokes of Post-Impressionist Artists. His unique style focuses on capturing light, not through the detail of realism, but with gesture, illusion, shape and colour. He offers a personal and distinctive style to the world through his bold use of colours and lines, often symbolic images or subject matter. Objects in the paintings retain their realistic appearance yet have a vibrancy and fluidity about them, unique to his work. Jeff Dillon’s new expression of Post-Impressionism is both beloved and revered in the Canadian and Global Contemporary Art World.
