这幅风景画由加拿大艺术家杰夫·狄龙创作，描绘了一幕海岸黄昏景象：天空与水面在不断变幻的光线中彼此映照。这件原创作品采用厚涂丙烯颜料绘于画布之上，着重表现层叠的笔触、流动感与氛围，呈现白昼平静地过渡至夜晚的时刻。

很难分辨，这份流动感究竟来自缓缓飘移的云层，还是下方水面轻柔的涟漪。天空燃烧着橙色、洋红色与紫罗兰色的色调，并倒映在水面上；帆船停泊其中，随着水流轻轻摇曳。一条深色的地平线稳稳托住画面构图，在白昼渐渐落幕之际，进一步强化了宁静的氛围。
