RECOGNITION: Homiens Spring 2026 Art Prize — Highly Commended
ANNOUNCED: October 2026
I’m honoured to have been selected as a Highly Commended Artist in the Spring 2026 Homiens Art Prize.
The Homiens Art Prize is an international art competition that receives thousands of entries each year. The Spring 2026 round considered submissions received between March and May, recognising three winning artists, twelve finalists, and a selection of Highly Commended Artists.
In their notification, the jurors recognised my abilities as demonstrated through my overall submission and acknowledged the thoughtful and promising direction of my artistic practice. They shared that my work had made a notable impression on them. My paintings explore nature through colour, movement, and expressive linework. Working with heavy-body acrylics on canvas, I draw inspiration from landscapes, wildlife, and the places I’ve experienced.
Thank you to the Homiens jurors for recognising my work, and to everyone who continues to support my painting.
