Jeff Dillon is a Canadian artist whose work is rooted in the bold colours and expressive brushwork of Post-Impressionism. His paintings focus on capturing light through gesture, shape, and movement rather than strict realism. The result is a distinctive style where forms remain recognizable yet carry a sense of vibrancy and fluidity unique to his work. His contemporary interpretation of Post-Impressionism has earned recognition from collectors across Canada and internationally.

Commission Process

1. Submit Your Request:

Please complete the commission request form below so I can understand the size, orientation, colours, and overall concept you have in mind for the painting. You may also email your ideas directly to info@jeffdillon.ca to arrange a time to discuss the project in more detail. Commission quotes remain valid for 60 days.

2. Discuss Your Commission & Receive a Quote:

Once your request is submitted, I will review the details and reach out to schedule a time to discuss your idea. During this conversation we will confirm the subject, size, orientation, colours, and overall direction of the painting. After the details are confirmed, you will receive a commission quote based on the final size of the painting.

  • Original paintings are priced by size. You can refer to examples of original paintings on my website to get a general sense of pricing.
  • Complimentary shipping is included for deliveries within Canada and the United States.
  • International shipments, oversized works, or specialty deliveries may require a custom shipping quote.
  • Customs or import fees charged by the destination country remain the responsibility of the recipient.
3. Confirm Your Commission:

A 50% deposit is required to secure your place in the commission schedule. The deposit is due within 30 days of the agreed start date and confirms the commission. Due to the nature of commissioned work, there may occasionally be a waiting period depending on current projects, and timelines can shift slightly as commissions progress.

4. Completion & Final Payment:

When the painting is completed, the remaining balance is due prior to shipment. If you decide not to proceed after paying the deposit, the deposit is retained and the painting remains with the artist. Original commissioned paintings are final sale and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged. For more information please contact me.

5. Shipping & Delivery:

All original paintings are professionally packaged in protective wooden crates and shipped with full tracking and a required signature. Collectors must arranged to be on site when the painting arrives. Coordination is needed with the courier. Shipping timelines vary depending on destination, and I work with experienced fine art shippers to ensure safe and reliable delivery worldwide.
