Jeff Dillon is a Canadian artist based in Waterloo, Ontario, with work exhibited and collected internationally. His work has also been included in international installations, including Canadian embassies worldwide. Over the past 15 years, he has completed more than 300 original paintings, with works held in private collections across Canada and internationally.

From an early age, Jeff was drawn to the natural world, often wandering through fields and forests collecting leaf specimens and learning to identify plants, wildlife, and birds across British Columbia, Manitoba, and Ontario. This early connection to nature later expanded into a lasting fascination with seasonal weather patterns and changing landscapes, forming the foundation of his artistic practice.

In his early thirties, Jeff fully committed to painting, working after hours and late into the night. He has described the urge to create as a calling that produces an internal restlessness when left unexplored. As both his skill and confidence developed, he began exhibiting his work in galleries and art shows, receiving recognition for his bold, colourful, and dynamic style. His work is now held in private collections across Canada and internationally.

Jeff's creative process blends patience, practice, and perseverance. His work is influenced by artists such as Lawren Harris and Vincent van Gogh, particularly in the use of colour, light, and expressive brushwork. Inspired by Post-Impressionist techniques, his paintings focus on capturing light, movement, and structure while remaining grounded in recognizable subject matter, carrying a vibrancy and fluidity that define his signature style. He continues to work from his studio, translating landscapes and lived experiences into painted form, drawing from the natural environments that first shaped his connection to the outdoors.
