黃昏改變了森林的節奏，也隨之提升了貓頭鷹的警覺。在這幅由加拿大藝術家 Jeff Dillon 創作的厚塗身體壓克力畫中，大灰貓頭鷹顯得警醒，完全投入於周遭逐漸昏暗的景色。背景的層疊動感與豎起的羽毛營造出一種飛行前一刻的緊張與專注感。
