El otoño cambia sutilmente el ritmo y el color del paisaje. En esta pintura acrílica de cuerpo espeso del artista canadiense Jeff Dillon, el calor menguante de la estación crea un fondo más sereno, donde las ramas, el follaje apagado y los pequeños movimientos del bosque se vuelven más perceptibles. Los tonos terrosos superpuestos y los contrastes suavizados reflejan la transición del final del otoño hacia la quietud del invierno.

En otoño vemos cómo nuestro entorno abandona la exuberancia de los colores del verano y adopta una paleta apagada mientras se prepara para un largo descanso invernal.
