Una exuberante escena veraniega, con High Falls en el río Pigeon en Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canadá. La cascada en esta pintura marca el punto donde el río hace una caída final antes de convertirse en el Lago Superior y parte del sistema de los Grandes Lagos. Se utiliza un delineado negro para detallar las formas rocosas serpenteantes y orgánicas de las cataratas. Los pigmentos de pizarra y ocre pálido se tiñen con blanco titanio para detallar la corriente del río al derramarse por el borde. Se pueden sentir los contornos de las rocas escondidas detrás del flujo de agua que en algunos lugares apenas gotea por la pared.
