L’autunno cambia sottilmente il ritmo e i colori del paesaggio. In questo dipinto acrilico a corpo spesso dell’artista canadese Jeff Dillon, il calore evanescente della stagione crea uno sfondo più quieto, dove i rami, il fogliame dai toni spenti e i piccoli movimenti all’interno della foresta diventano più evidenti. I toni terrosi stratificati e i contrasti attenuati riflettono il passaggio dal tardo autunno alla quiete dell’inverno.

In autunno vediamo il nostro ambiente liberarsi della rigogliosa vivacità estiva e passare a una tavolozza più sobria, preparandosi al lungo riposo invernale. Sembra che anche molti dei nostri amici piumati che rimangono qui adottino un aspetto più discreto. Questo cambiamento dello scenario, dal fogliame abbondante a uno sfondo lineare e legnoso, offre il palcoscenico perfetto per osservare i vostri uccelli preferiti saltellare qua e là. Dominato dai toni terrosi, questo dipinto è ricco di bruni ocra e terra di Siena bruciata, con sottili accenni di verde acqua e arancione disseminati qua e là.
