落葉樹のシルエットが、夕暮れの弱まりゆく太陽を背景に黒く浮かび上がっています。空の色彩は果てしなく広がるようで、紫酸化物、セルリアンブルー、マゼンタの顔料が幾重にも重なっています。空はあまりにも鮮やかで明るいため、太陽が沈みつつあるにもかかわらず、木々の細部を最小限の黒い線へと描き出しています。ゆっくりと、しかし確実に、カドミウムイエローの夕焼けが、細い木の幹の向こうへ消えていきます。
付属の真正性証明書にも、アーティスト本人の直筆サインと番号が入っています。
