낙엽수의 실루엣이 늦은 저녁의 기울어 가는 햇빛을 배경으로 검게 드러납니다. 하늘의 색채는 보랏빛 산화물, 세룰리안 블루, 마젠타가 겹겹이 어우러져 끝없이 다채롭게 펼쳐집니다. 석양이 지는 순간에도 하늘이 눈부시게 강렬하고 밝아 나무의 세부 묘사는 최소한의 검은 선으로 표현됩니다. 서서히 그러나 확실하게 카드뮴 옐로 선셋이 가느다란 나무줄기 뒤로 사라져 갑니다.
