#162 – Heart Of Courage
Original Work By Jeff Dillon
This timber wolf is standing guard, positioned in front of the inviting trunk of an ancient tree, possibly the entrance to its den. We don’t know if it is protecting its territory or pack, but it is certainly the watcher of its group. The wolf’s sturdy form is detailed in titan cream and subtle hues of violet and slate. Although the wolf’s coat is lighter in colour than its surroundings, it blends in perfectly with the forest backdrop thanks to the shared earthy tones of raw sienna and ochre brown.
