This painting I created is to represent all of the yellow, amber, and golden colours at this time of year. I always forget how beautiful the tones in the yellows autumn leaves are. Painting allows me to capture a moment in time that can be enjoy forever, especially when it’s of something as fleeting as autumn leaves. Every year they come out and delight us with their beauty, but only for a very short time before they are gone again. Painting them helps me to hold onto that bit of magic for just a little bit longer.
