This beautiful scene depicts a beach in Aotearoa, New Zealand. The intricate linework details and colour palette make this piece dance before your eyes. The streaming light and flowing water create fleeting shapes. The movement is achieved by use of wispy layers of delicate linework throughout. The sky is dynamic and far reaching. Waves are slowly lapping the sand, reflecting the cadmium red, orange, and cerulean blue sky. This piece conjures memories of the salty and earthy smells of the ocean, and feeling of misty air on your face.
