About the Painting
In the spring it can feel like the skies have opened up and graced us with an endless procession of robins. They hurry about, urgently scouting out materials for their nests, making frequent round trips from the ground to the safety of their chosen tree. Greens, and cool primary blues make up the leaves and dapples of the sky. Warm browns, cyan reds and subtle graphite greys are used to detail the robin.
