Ngorongoro: Where Giants Walk is a limited edition fine art print based on Jeff Dillon’s original heavy body acrylic painting inspired by Ngorongoro (En-gor-on-GOR-oh) Crater in Tanzania. Formed when an ancient volcano collapsed inward, the crater now holds open grassland, distant hills, shifting sky, and some of Africa’s most recognizable wildlife. The image follows a bull elephant moving along the road, with cattle egrets staying close by and another lifting into the sky.

The print carries the feeling of the original painting, with the elephant fully part of the road, grasses, birds, and wide open land around it. Ngorongoro’s volcanic history, scale, wildlife, and distance all shape the piece, giving the scene a quiet sense of place without losing the strength of the animal at its centre.
