The mountains hold many special valleys where it feels as though you’re in a new world. This piece creates a sense that you’re deep in the wilderness and almost consumed by the density of the surrounding brush and grass. In the distance, towering mountains yield a feeling of divinity. Their rocky structures are contrasted by the soft and flowing cloud forms behind them. A fast flowing river has carved a path between hilly terrain and tufts of overreaching grass. The palette includes paynes grey, sap green, phthalo green, cerulean blue and teal. All of the pigments are blended together with titanium white to create cohesive tints.
