Peinture originale à l’acrylique extra-épaisse sur toile réalisée par l’artiste canadien Jeff Dillon, inspirée par l’observation paisible des oiseaux dans les paysages naturels du Canada. Créée par superposition de coups de pinceau, de textures et de mélanges de couleurs, cette peinture contemporaine inspirée de la faune évoque un instant immobile au petit matin, dans la nature.

Tout ébouriffé et perché sur une branche, il attend le lever du soleil. Ce petit rouge-gorge arbore un plumage printanier brillant et ressemble à une charmante petite boule sur la branche qu’il a choisie. Ses petites pattes sont repliées sous le confort de ses plumes duveteuses. Les plumes orange chaleureuses sont peintes avec de l’orange de quinacridone et rehaussées de jaune titanate. Du blanc de titane subtil et des nuances d’ombre naturelle chaude servent à détailler la branche et les plumes des ailes du rouge-gorge.
