My painting, “Evening’s Promise,” captures the serene moment at dusk when the sun has just dipped below the horizon over a peaceful lake in Ontario, Canada. The sky is alive with a blend of purples, pinks, oranges, and yellows, each colour melting into the next as the day gives way to night. A golden glow lingers behind a distant island, casting its warm light across the calm waters, creating a reflective and tranquil scene. The landscape is softly illuminated by the fading sunlight, evoking a sense of calm and quiet reflection. This painting embodies the gentle transition of dusk, offering a moment of peace as the world settles into the calm of the evening.
